St. Louis Cardinals 2013: Peanut Controlled Days

This year, the St. Louis Cardinals are offering three peanut controlled days at Busch Stadium:

Wednesday, June 5, at 7:15 PM
Sunday, July 7, 1:15 PM
Saturday, August 24, 6:15 PM

Per the Cardinals' website, "This unique opportunity allows our fans with peanut allergies to sit in a "Peanut Controlled Zone" - sales of peanuts will be halted in your section and fans will not be allowed to consume peanut products in that area."

St. Louis Cardinals' Peanut Controlled Section 2012

Gateway FEAST and the Cardinals are hosting a Peanut Controlled Section 328 at Busch Stadium on the following dates in on 2012:

·       Saturday, April 28^th at 12:05 p.m. vs. the Milwaukee Brewers

·       Sunday, June 10^th at 1:15 p.m. vs. the Cleveland Indians

·       Tuesday, July 24^th at 7:05 p.m. vs. the Los Angeles Dodgers

Tickets are $14.00 each and go on sale Friday, March 2^nd.

Thank you to Laura Veach of Gateway FEAST for providing the following information. Gateway FEAST and the St. Louis Cardinals have teamed up to offer 3 games with a peanut safe section.

The peanut safe section will be Section 328.

Saturday, April 17^th at 12:10 p.m. vs. the New York Mets
Tuesday, June 29^th at 7:15 p.m. vs. the Arizona Diamondbacks
Monday, July 19^th at 7:15 p.m. vs. the Philadelphia Phillies

Baseball Season Not So Far Away

We just had our first snow yesterday, December 7, and I've spotted the first mention of peanut free baseball for the 2009 season. If you followed Food Allergy Buzz during the summer, you'll recall my penchant for following all the baseball games with special accommodations for food allergic and specifically peanut allergic fans. I can't stop now!

Here is the press release for the first one I spotted for 2009. The River City Rascals in O'Fallon, Missouri, along with Gateway FEAST (Food Allergy, Eczema, and Asthma Support Team) have planned Peanut-Safe Wednesdays in Section 109.
