Peanut Allergy Friendly Baseball Games 2017: Marlins' Peanut Controlled Game

With permission, I am sharing the below information provided by Michael M. a member of Parents of Kids with Severe Peanut Allergy Group.

The Marlins have teamed up with the Food Allergy Research & Education (FARE) for the inaugural Peanut Controlled Game at Marlins Park. This ticket package includes one (1) Legends 1st Base game ticket and Peanut Controlled buffet.
• Peanut Controlled Entrance*: Bobby Maduro Entrance (located on the southeast side of the ballpark along Bobby Maduro Drive)
• Friday: September 15, 2017
• Milwaukee Brewers vs. Miami Marlins
• Gates Open: 5:30 PM
• First Pitch: 7:10 PM
A portion of the ticket sales from this offer will be donated to Food Allergy Research & Education (FARE)
*NOTE: Peanut Controlled Event ticketholders must use the Bobby Maduro Entrance to enter Marlins Park.
Pricing:
$38 per person includes one (1) game ticket and Peanut Controlled buffet.
In addition, a limited number of private Fiesta Suites (24 person capacity) are available for purchase.

Please note: This special offer is only available online through this ticket offer and is not available at the box office.

Highlights:
• Peanuts will be prohibited in the ticketed area (Legends 1st Base seat category, Sections 201-204 and the Fiesta Suites). No products containing peanuts will be sold in the ticketed area.
• The ticketed area will be thoroughly cleaned and inspected prior to the game.
• The Bobby Maduro Entrance (located on the southeast side of the ballpark along Bobby Maduro Drive) will be designated as the “Peanut Controlled Entrance.” Peanut Controlled Event ticketholders must use the Bobby Maduro Entrance to enter Marlins Park. For the least peanut-exposed path to your ticketed area, please park in the First Base Garage and enter through the Bobby Maduro Entrance.
• Guests will not be allowed to bring in any products containing peanuts through the Bobby Maduro Entrance or in the ticketed area.
• Appropriate “Peanut Controlled” signage will be posted at the Bobby Maduro Entrance and the ticketed area.
• The All You Can Eat Peanut Controlled buffet is a fixed menu and will be available from when gates open 90 minutes before first pitch until the end of the 6th inning. The bar at Section 201 will also be prepared for this Peanut Controlled event and have alcoholic beverages available for purchase. (Guests must be 21 years of age or older to purchase and consume alcohol. Guests will be limited to a max of two alcoholic beverages per transaction. Alcohol sales will be discontinued at the completion of the 7th inning.)

Peanut and Nut Allergy Friendly Games 2017: Peanut & Nut Allergy Suite Argonauts

Mississauga Anaphylaxis Education Network, and Director of the Canadian Anaphylaxis Initiative:

"The Canadian Football League's Toronto Argonauts, with the support of BMO Field and Canadian Anaphylaxis Initiative, are pleased to provide a private suite for those with allergies. Tickets for this section will be reserved for our fans with peanut/nut allergies and their families and friends. Peanuts/nuts will not be allowed in this suite. Every effort will be made to accommodate other allergens, where possible, upon request.
The CFL Edmonton Oilers play at Commonwealth Stadium - It has been peanut/nut free since 2006.

The CFL Hamilton Tiger-Cats stadium is also peanut/nut free and also has EpiPens on hand.

Peanut Allergy Friendly Baseball Games 2017: Birmingham Barons Peanut Free Night

The annual Birmingham Barons Peanut Free Night game is Wednesday, June 28, at Regions Field. The game is against the Biloxi Shuckers.

Peanut Allergy Friendly Baseball Games 2017: Madison Mallards Allergy Friendly Baseball Game

Thanks to the Food Allergy Association of WI for sending news about the upcoming Allergy Friendly Baseball Game between the Mallards and the Wisconsin Green Bay Bullfrogs.

"The game starts at 6:35pm. Gates open at 5:00pm. There will be a peanut/nut free concession stand with ingredient listing available for the items sold there and there will be a special seating section. Tickets are $34.00 /person and include all you can eat and drink (soda and water) and 3 draught beers or tickets for 3 kids games. $3 of every ticket will be donated to FAAW. Peanut Allergy Friendly Baseball 2017: Omaha Storm Chasers Peanut Free Night

The Omaha Storm Chasers' annual peanut free night game will be Monday, June 5. The game is sponsored by Asthma & Allergy Center and tickets may be purchased on the Storm Chasers' website.

Peanut Allergy Friendly Baseball 2017: Oakland A's Offer MLB's First Ever Permanent Peanut-Controlled Section

BIG news in the world of peanut allergy accommodations at baseball games. The Oakland A's have established a permanent peanut-controlled section for every game this season. This is a FIRST for a Major League Baseball team!!!! Fans who have tickets for the peanut-controlled area in Loge 66 will have to sign a waiver. Seating is limited but will be cleaned before each game. Peanuts and peanut products will still be sold in the rest of the stadium. Tickets for the peanut-controlled section may be purchased online on the A's website

Peanut Allergy Friendly Baseball 2017: Tennessee Smokies Peanut Free Game

Just heard that Tennessee Smokies are having a peanut free game TOMORROW NIGHT (May 3)! Tickets may be purchased online and range from $8.50 or $9.00 (depending on whether it's a kids or adult ticket) to $22 (the higher price ticket includes food). Peanut Allergy Friendly Baseball Games: South Bend Cubs Peanut-Free Suite

On Sunday, May 7, the South Bend Cubs are offering a peanut-free suite with 40 seats. According to the Cubs' website, tickets are just $19 and "a seat in the peanut-free Old National Bank Home Plate Suite, South Bend Cubs hat, and a ballpark buffer of hot dogs, hamburgers, chips and soft drinks." The Anaphylaxis & Food Allergy Association of Minnesota is coordinating with the Minnesota Twins yet again this year to offer special seating for fans with peanut allergies for an amazing 12 games. Peanut Allergy Friendly Baseball Games 2017: Wisconsin Timber Rattlers Peanut Free Nights

On Thursday, June 22, and Friday, June 23, the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers will have their annual peanut free night games. No peanuts will be in allowed in the stadium. Both games will be against the Kane County Cougars. To purchase tickets, visit the Timber Rattlers' website.

Peanut Allergy Friendly Baseball Games 2017: Philadelphia Phillies Peanut Reduced Suites

The Philadelphia Phillies are offering "peanut reduced suites" for 7 games this season, according to their website. Tickets are $60 each, and the first peanut reduced game is April 21, against the Atlanta Braves. There is a maximum of 4 tickets per order, first come first serve. Peanut Allergy Friendly Baseball Games 2017: Detroit Tigers Peanut Allergy Friendly Game

The Detroit Tigers notified us that they are offering opportunities for fans with peanut allergy to attend a baseball game with special accommodations for those with peanut allergy. Products with nuts will not be sold in the specially designated area. The two game dates are Sunday April 30 against the White Sox and Sunday May 21 against the Rangers. A maximum of four tickets per family may be purchased and a waiver must be signed. Seating is limited and is available on a first come first serve basis.

Peanut Allergy Friendly Baseball Games 2017: Chicago White Sox

The Chicago White Sox are offering two peanut allergy awareness games this year: May 13 and July 17. Tickets are $30 each.

The May game is versus the Padres on Saturday, May 13, 2017 at 6:10 pm. Click here for the ticket form and information; tickets must be ordered by April 28. The July game is against the Mariners and is July 17 at 1:10 pm, and ticket orders must be received by July 7. Here is the ticket form.
