Peanut Allergy Friendly New York Mets Game: Help Make It Happen!

Please see the below message from Paul W., father of a child with peanut allergy:

The New York Mets were planning to have a Peanut Free night game in April, but it was cancelled due to lack of interest. I spoke with one of the people in charge of group sales and respectfully told them that there was no notifications about such an event, that I had to specifically call and request the date to find out about it, so that could explain the lack of interest. I explained to them that I have a huge following on social media, and would spread the word to show interest.

If anyone would be interested in attending a peanut free day at Citi Field, this would be the arrangements:

The seats would be in one of the suites. The entire seating area would be power washed down. The suites include a large interior section where hot food, drinks (non alcohol is free) and desert would be served for 2 1/2 hours, all included in the price. The tickets would run about $90.00 per person. For unlimited food and drink, it's a pretty good deal. Plus since it's a suite you have your own bathrooms....... another huge plus. And if you want to take a break from the seats, you have a large suite with seating and TV's to hang out in.

If you think this is a good idea and would be interested in going, if they have enough participation they would schedule one for the fall. If you are interested, would you mind emailing Sam Barlow from group sales at SBarlow@nymets.com and express your interest?

For the record I have no financial or physical interest in this event; I merely want to take my peanut allergy son to an event where the likelihood of a reaction is greatly reduced.
