Lond Island Ducks Announce Peanut-Free Night

"The Long Island Ducks today announced that the team will host a "peanut-free night" at Citibank Park on Tuesday, May 19, when the Ducks host the Newark Bears at 6:35 p.m. There will be no sale of peanuts at the ballpark on that date, giving fans struggling with peanut allergies the opportunity to attend a baseball game."

  1. hi...we attended this ballgame...only one section over was there a man eating peanuts (and throwing the shells to the ground)...apparently he had brought them from home and was unaware it was a peanut free night....upon checking with others from our group, some were asked/reminded of the peanut free night upon entering the stadium...my family, with our peanut allergic child, were NEVER told of the peanut free policy for that night..(that being the reason we picked that game to attend)....and we had a tote bag full of snacks and such for our kids...anyway...night turned out fine ...for us...and hopefully everyone else too....I will say that I never saw a mention of it being peanut free on the LI Ducks website
