Peanut Free Day: Long Island Ducks 2012

Thanks to Karen for noticing that the Long Island Ducks' Peanut Free Day was missing from our many posts about peanut allergy accommodations at baseball games around the U.S. this season. It has been a great year for peanut allergy accommodations!

The Long Island Ducks are having Peanut Free Day on September 15, 2012. The game starts at 1:05 PM and is versus the Camden Riversharks.

For more information about the game, please visit the Long Island Ducks' website.

Seattle Mariners: Peanut-Controlled Section 2012

I just received an email reminder from Michael San Soucie (thank you so much, Michael!) that next Wednesday, August 15, 2012 is the last game of the season for the Mariners with a peanut-controlled section.  The Mariners are playing the Tampa Bay Rays. Summer's ending soon, and it sounds like a great time. Michael's actually going to throw out the Group First Pitch! WAFEAST is a such great group of people; so, what are you waiting for? Go to www.mariners.com/nopeanuts and get your tickets!

Peanut Free Game: Lexington Legends 2012

The Lexington Legends will be having a peanut free game tonight, August 8 at 7:05 pm versus West Virginia. This game, like the peanut free game the Florence Freedom are having, is sponsored by Family Allergy & Asthma. According to Milb.com, "the Legends remove all forms of peanuts, sunflower seeds, and any foods prepared with peanut oils so that fans may enjoy the game--and the concessions--without concern about a possible allergic reaction."

For ticket information, call (859) 422-7859 or visit www.lexingtonlegends.com.
